The paint finishing stage in the manufacturing process is, together with the dyeing stage, part of the final mixing phase. Both are performed just before filling.

Following the dispersion and grinding phase, discussed in a previous article, a product finishing or completion stage is required. Mixing systems are used in this new stage, by means of mixing turbines, to obtain a turbulent motion of the product.
