Basic engineering
At this stage, having defined the processes and clarified the specifications, the basic engineering project will be delivered, by including:
- Process Diagram (P&ID)
- General Lay-out
- Static and dynamic loads, dimensions of the equipment and process platforms, size and design of piping installation.
- Specifications of required power, compressed air, water, nitrogen, etc.
- General specifications of the equipment detailed in P&ID and Layout, in terms of volumes and capacities.
- Estimated planning: Detailed engineering development, procurement of materials as specified in detailed engineering, supply of the equipment, mechanical and electric assembling, start up and workers training.
- Estimated overall budget.
