CHLORINE-PROOF COMPONENTS AND DERIVATIVES
Phytosanitary products are primarily manufactured in the liquid phase due to the ease of application and safer handling compared to powder products. These products, typically of low viscosity, often incorporate chlorine derivatives in their formulation; therefore, their corrosive capacity must be considered when selecting manufacturing machinery.
At O+B, we place special emphasis on the ceramic coating of our equipment components to adapt them to these specific sector requirements.
Phytosanitary products Large batch
For the phytosanitary industry, we have defined processes that are as closed as possible in continuous operation, with automatic transfers and centralised control.
We implement these solutions with special materials that are able to withstand the corrosive effects of chlorine.
In the milling phase, we must structure the process by means of serial passes between mills of different sized microspheres.
The definition of filling process is conditioned by the packaging format, and we rely on gravimetric solutions.
Phytosanitary, Small batches
When the market asks us for less automated solutions, we are able to define compatible processes using floor-standing machines.
In this case our Mill-ennium RS mill gives us a very high production output and allows us to have a much higher throughput in smaller batches.
Filling, as mentioned above, can be done in IBC, which leads us to large gravimetric solutions.
