Innovation, flexibility, and collaboration at the service of our clients’ processes.
At Oliver + Batlle, we have a technical laboratory and various pilot plants prepared to help our clients develop real solutions for their production.
Our goal goes beyond testing: we work to create, adjust, and validate formulas, processes, and customized solutions that can then be scaled with guarantees to the industrial environment.
We firmly believe that the best way to innovate is collaboratively. Therefore, we encourage active client participation during tests and, if they cannot be present, we offer recordings or live streams so they can follow the entire process without leaving their workplace.
Two areas, a common approach: improving products and processes.
Our laboratory is divided into two specialized areas: production and filling.
Production area
Here we perform dispersion, mixing, and milling tests with a clear objective: to help our clients develop formulas and define the optimal process.
We seek:
- Achieve the desired fineness
- Verify homogenization capability
- Validate how different components are incorporated
- Adjust parameters such as speed, viscosity, or temperature
All this in controlled conditions, but with results designed to be scalable to industrial lines.
Filling area
In this section, we focus on validating the real filling cadence for each product-container combination. We test different nozzles, adjustments, and configurations, always seeking:
- Maximum speed without splashing
- Minimal foam generation
- Perfect balance between precision and performance
3d printing: rapid prototyping and tailored solutions.
We have 3D printing technology that allows us to internally manufacture customized agitation blades and filling nozzles. This gives us a great advantage:
- We can test multiple designs in very little time
- We reduce development costs
- We adjust each component to the specific needs of the product and client
The result: more precise, faster, more effective solutions.
Measurement and analysis of key parameters
During tests, we record and analyze key data to ensure a reliable process:
- Manufacturing control
- Viscosity, density, temperature, pressure
- Particle size (Microtrac S3500)
- Aesthetic properties: gloss, color, opacity
- Line filling performance
All results are compared to a reference sample, ensuring every decision is data-based, not assumptions.
