MACHINERY FOR GLUE AND ADHESIVE MANUFACTURING
Glues and adhesives encompass a wide range of products with very different properties and viscosities, from very low to very high.
Whether dealing with synthetic adhesives (petroleum-derived polymers such as polyvinyl acetate, ethylenic, polyurethane, or synthetic rubber glues, as well as anaerobic or cyanoacrylate adhesives), plant-based adhesives (derived from potato or corn starch), or animal-based adhesives (traditional glue, or those derived from dairy or egg whites), these products do not require dispersion or milling during manufacture; instead, pre-dispersion or stirring is sufficient.
For the manufacture of solvent-based glues and adhesives, it is essential to utilize an agitator equipped with a telescopic or vacuum lid and a vapor condenser. In cases involving complex viscosities, optional features such as scraper or orbital blades are highly recommended.
SOLUTIONS FOR GLUES
Closed-process solutions are preferred for glues and adhesives, as these products are tacky and difficult to clean. The key part of the process is dispersion, ensuring proper raw material incorporation using pneumatic technology.
Packaging is typically gravimetric using COMBI machines, as dosing heads are prone to abrasive wear from products often containing abrasive thickeners.
TURNKEY SOLUTIONS FOR ADHESIVES
Process solutions for adhesives in small batches are often related to high-value-added products. These are typically turnkey solutions regarding the design of raw material intake, where stirring is performed in machines with hermetic seals and vapor condensers due to the high probability of solvent bases.
Packaging is highly specific to the container size, which also dictates the required level of automation.

We have very flexible industrial agitators with a wide range of optional accessories for the production of small batches of medium- or low-viscosity glues and adhesives. These include:
- Telescopic or vacuum lids for product isolation.
- Steam condensers and vessel holders for greater safety in the manufacturing process.
- Scraper and orbital blades for products with complex viscosities.
We also have solutions for the production of large batches with configurations that adapt to the needs of each client, as well as automated cleaning systems, closed loading systems and different shaft configurations depending on production.
Our automation solutions for glue and adhesive manufacturing include a fully automated system for raw material supply with its own touch screen management program. Material transport can also be automated to convey any kind of material: solid, liquid and gases.
Our motorised solutions cover any power range requirement for the manufacturing of high-viscosity adhesives. Such is the case of the Dispermix Dual VFD industrial mixer or the Hidrobat planetary mixers.
Our technical office develops accessories for high-viscosity adhesive mixing solutions, such as technical insulated vessels or vessels equipped with the functionality required by each manufacturing process.
